Feyda Sayan-Cengiz

Feyda Sayan-Cengiz is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Political Science and International Relations at Manisa Celal Bayar University. She previously worked at the Department of Media of İstanbul Bilgi University and at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of Mardin Artuklu University. She holds a PhD in Political Science with Distinction from Bilkent University. Feyda has written extensively on women’s rights, veiling and the women’s movement in Turkey and has authored Beyond Headscarf Culture in Turkey’s Retail Sector (2016).
